Blue...i'm pulling my hair out. Now my Hesston gets a bale half way built...then the bale stops turning. Everything else still turns, belt, gears, chains, rollers....I can't figure it out! I spent all afternoon and only got through about 10 rolls....argggggHHhhHHH!

So ... everything is turning fine until about a half a bale and then its just the bale that stops?

Are you saying the bale is in the baler at a stand still and the belts are just going around and not turning the bale?

Do you have a de-clutcher rod? It would probably be on the left side of the baler if you were behind the baler looking toward the tractor. Normally the rod length is controlled by the position of the nuts on the rod to size the bale.
You could have a nut missing, moved, or the shaft might be broken.

Yep....weird ain't it? I had enough yesterday, so we went down the river today on Kayaks...it was 91 here today:cool2:.

Pacer, tomorrow AM I am going to go over the baler again and I look at that rod, and the bearings, and maybe some kinda offering to the used worn out baler Gods.

When in doubt pull out the Owners Manual

....main cause can be the tailgate not latching. Hmmm, this is a possibility, so I need to double check that. It also says that a idler roller can be jammed, so I will take the tension off the belts and see if they all spin free.

Do you have a monitor? If so does it have an idicator light to show the gate closed?

I can turn my baler over by hand with a large cresent wrench and watch all the moving parts.

Keep us posted on what you find.
