Did Kioti shoot themselves in the foot once again?

Free loaders on CK series, rebates available on other models will almost cover the cost of the loader. Are ya pushed enough?

Almost...but I really had my eye on a DK40SE...:D

So does McCormick make their own loaders/backhoes or will they use others like the Bobcat/Rhino deal since Kioti makes their own loaders/backhoes...?

Kioti doesn't really make their own loaders and backhoes. They are-were made by Taesong and Ansung in Korea, some even came from KMW here in the states.
If you look at the TYM tractors you will see the same loader and backhoe on some of their tractors.
Bobcat is now making their own loaders. They are still using the Rhino backhoes.
We are getting a new Mahindra 5010Hydro cab tractor and it has the same loader as my DK40 has on it. Which I believe is a Ansung loader.

I don't know who makes Daedong's loaders, but we know how they load test them. Look at HHM's first picture. That ol' boy is checkin' that bucket for strength.;)

Did they have an MSRP price list at the show? Wonder when they will be hitting the dealer's lots? Maybe they will be aggressive with pricing as Bobcat was in the early years to get some market share! I'm liking the red!

I'm wondering if they will be offering a free loader?

I have been leaning REALLY hard toward Kioti...but I like red too. Of course, if a super bargain comes along in white, I can be had...let's face it...I'm easy. (It's either that or the fact Daedong makes a sturdy tractor)

Hold out for the DK40se model in whatever color works best. It is still the sweet spot in the Daedong line up for performance/value.

Larger production for manufacturer should mean they can keep cost down; good for consumer. Healthy competition is not a bad thing, as long as competitors are making money, a smart consumer will pay a little more for a product with good service, unfortunately the average consumer who shops by price only, never really get a great deal as often if the dealer is selling real low, he will not be there for them later usually, unless he does huge volume.

Hopefully the Kioti dealers will have a pricing advantage, or why would they remain a Kioti dealer.

New Kioti slogan why buy a knock off when you can get the original for less.

And maybe Kioty will be the first tractor company to off tractors in your choice of colors with chrome acsents.

This is just a rumour, but I enquired about Kioti January 7 with the local dealer who is also a friend. He told me about the Landhini/McCormick relationship and also, when I asked if there would be another "free loader event" (the exisiting one ended Dec 31), he said he thought another such event would be announced in March. So, that's just a rumour. But I think his telling me about the McCormick relationship January 7 was ahead of general knowledge, so perhaps the "free loader" info is good too.

I'm considering a DK35 HST and will wait at least until late spring for possible promotions. I also want to buy from my friend even though the local Bobcat and Landinhi dealers are more established.
