Wife and I got the J&J yesterday. Today we both feel like we have the flu and bad headaches.

I had my first dose last week and noticed I was more irritable than usual for a day or two. Did anyone else have that experience?

Slightly sore shoulder from the 1st shot and no problem from 2nd: Pfizer.

I have gotten both of my Pfizer shots, last one a month ago, no ill effects whatsoever.

If you do your research, it doesn't even meet the criteria for a vaccine.

Most likely I wouldn't have needed a defense because I'd have lost the gunfight.

I'm not on the Vaccine bandwagon and have not had a sick day in 29 years...

That said working in medical I see first hand the suffering of Covid for both individuals and those that care about the person...

Not a Doc at my facility refused Vaccine and many posted pictures getting it...

Realize it is individual decision and had I not been in the situation as sole caregiver for 87 year old special needs parents I may have opted out...

I respect your decision only disagree with the use of dumb...

Not reassuring.

I firmly believe in the efficacy of vaccines. It may take time to fine tune the formulas but I have faith that they will and that they work. I have been receiving vaccines (immunizations) for 70 years with no ill effects and have never suffered from any of the diseases they were designed to prevent.

Mee too! Nothing at all after my AstraZeneca shot March 20. Hope it wasn't a blank! (BTW, here in Canada it seems that all the provinces are now adopting a delayed second shot programme, whereby you have to wait up to 4 months for your second one. So now there is speculation that you are even better protected by waiting for the second shot, and even that AstraZeneca provides better protection than Pfizer or Moderna with the delayed second shot. We'll see. The important thing is that, despite purported differences in "effectiveness", not a single Canadian has ever died who has been vaccinated.)

I don't doubt that delaying the second shot may actually provide better protection.
I do think the reason is questionable.
The delay offers greater availability of vaccine, for others to get their first shots.

My second shot is on May 1st so no Cinco de Mayo drinking for me

Thanks to all for getting there vaccinations.

Something that has not been mentioned, those who don't get it are incubating new covid varieties for us to fight. The infected people might even know they're ill.
