My wife says I can't tell the difference between need & want. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif
A couple of years ago someone told me they were getting a Kubota and showed me the literature about it (BX22?). He was very exited about it. I had never heard of a Kubota, and thought it was quite a bit of overkill for what he needed. But that discussion planted a seed in my mind. As I worked around the yard I came across numerous instances where I thought "that machine would be helpful" for this or that. Then that seed grew into "I could probably use that machine". From there it grew into "I want one". When I retired it blossomed into "I need one of those". Do I really need one? No. But the BX23 keeps me busy and is a lot of fun to use. I've done (or am working on) many projects that I wouldn't have even attempted if I had not bought it. Can I justify the cost for it's need- no. Can I justify the cost for the enjoyment of working around the yard as a hobby- absolutely. Now I'm the excited one showing others the pictures. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
So I guess that's a "want".
