The reason why Stanadyne is allowed to be used is because it is a demulsifier. The DMax has a water separator and emulsifying additives, which almost all other additives are, reduce the effectiveness of it.
Now, IF you make it thru the warranty period AND you have no problems, WHY would you deviate from what got you those successful results?
