Ok. Just checked and the 484 is a Doncaster built tractor with a D179 Neuss (German) Engine.
Neuss engines of that vintage had a Bosch VA pump, which is a fuel lubricated unit. The lift pump is mounted to and driven by the fuel pump, with no direct path to the crankcase.
Check the pump shaft seal. It’s the most likely leak path.
