Diesel prices in your area?

On road has gone up over the last couple weeks. It ranger from 2.79 and. Up. We had home heating oil delivered and they were 2.99......guess they did not get the memo. I think Mass coupled with fed tax issomething like .70 .. The oil guys obviously want to make a per gallon mark up not a percentage mark up.

Had 250 gallons of red diesel delivered last week for $2.17 / gallon. Paid $2.45 to fill my F-350 Thursday at Murphy in Katy.

Filled up my F350 last night $2.81 cash price then we had a .10 cent grocery discount on top of that. Probably paid about the same as the Pacific Pride card lock where I usually go.

Here in the Philippnes it is 2,57 USD a gallon. Or 28 Peso/liter thats how they sell it here. I am happy with this, in Germany it is much more.

Not only do we get some of the best weather in the nation, we are only paying $3.359 for a gallon of diesel fuel. Gosh, how I love NY.

Why is it that diesel prices here in N.E. Are immune to the cheaper prices of crude? Isn't the refining process for diesel simpler and cheaper than gas? Why are we still paying $3.89 a gallon for diesel when gas is $2.20?
