I don't know when but the winter blend should be any time now. That usually means more money and less mpg.

By coincidence, I researched this just today as I did not want to get stuck with summer blend diesel. It seems in the colder regions, some refineries start this production and distribution in Sept. Most areas with exception of deep south, have a winter blend by Oct. By Nov-Dec., everybody has it. I already see a 2-4 mpg decline in our road vehicles. My daughters Focus goes from 38 to 34 mpg.
