BTW, for our US friends, that's about $4 Canadian per US gallon, which is about $3 US. quite a difference, but the Canadian gas taxes are about $.70 more US per gallon then are US gas taxes.

I started this thread on December 4, 2014 with the above post. So I feel that it is okay for me to resurrect this thread.

Today, April 24. 2020 I paid $1.79 per gallon for diesel. I would much rather pay $2.50 per gallon and have lots of my friends and neighbors still working. Don't get me wrong, I did drive a bit to get this price, which is about $0.40 less than the average around here, and I bought about 100 gallons, so I saved about $40. But, so many people have lost their jobs recently, not only because of the virus, but also because the oil and gas industry is just about shut down completely. Not good.
