Traveling down to the coast.. Diesel 2.239.. I couldn't believe diesel was this cheap down close to the gulf coast..It sure isn't that cheap at home

I didn't get any, but I saw road use diesel for $2.129 at a truckstop/casino near Amite, LA. today. Regular gas was $2.299 at the same place.

Diesel $2.29 Unleaded $2.39 today at Scott's Crossing Feed Store in Murchison, Texas. Also the best cheeseburger, French fries, and sweet tea combo for $6.50. :licking:

Seeing $2.15 nearby in Va. and here local in Person co. NC it is $2.26. Just bought a VW Golf TDI Sportwagen so enjoying the current pricing for the daily driver as well as the tractors!

Diesel prices started to fall much quicker than gas about 1 August. First time in about 10 years (advent of ultra low sulfer) that diesel has consistently been 40-50 cents cheaper than gas.

Just read on CNN that oil has gone BELOW $39 a barrel!

Very surprising to me.

Glad I didn't stock up my 700 gallons last spring.
