Diesel prices?

last Friday i saw off road diesel for $2.19/gallon in pennsylvania. I pay about $2.69 for on road in NJ. In Indiana last week i was paying like $2.95 for on road, and the off road is like $2.62. I want pennsy off road prices

Don't come to Upstate NY. For the longest time diesel was 2.97 a gallon and was usually about 10 cents more than gas. Only this past week since gas went over $3 a gal. diesel dropped to 2.93 a gal. I'd love to see it down to 2.69 a gal in this area. Indiana seems to be pacing NY with prices.

I just paid today $2.69 but that was on a NATIVE AMERICAN reservation. Western ny

One nice thing about the pricing structure of road diesel vs off-road diesel here in PA, it gives you a good idea of the government's cut.

The best price I've seen around here is $2.799 if you pay cash. The pumps are marked a nickel higher, but when you go into pay, they calculate the discount. No dicount for the off-road though,

I'd go to the rez (I have two to pick from) to fill up but nearest one to me is a little over a 60 mile round trip and neither is on a route I would normally take. Not really worth going out of my way and burn over three gallons to save .24 cents a gal.

Glad I'm driving a Prius Hybrid with great mileage part of the time! Rest of time two diesel trucks and a diesel tractor.

Finally diesel is less than gas around here but unfortunately due to gas prices going up.

Diesel is about $2.699
low octane gas $3.159

I don't buy off road very often as I have 300 gal tank so don't know current price.

I filled up the truck yesterday and on road was 2.83. Its been 2.83 for weeks. It bumped up to 2.89 maybe a month ago from 2.83 then dropped back down. Still 2.83 this morning.

Gas was 3.19, 3.29, and 3.39.

The F350 got a hand calculated 20.6 MPG. The overhead computer said 21.0. Can't complain about 20+ MPG in a 7500 truck. Most of my driving is rural 55 mph with maybe 20% in city traffic.

Biggest complaint about filling up is that the station put in new diesel pumps that are high flow. And he took off the doo dads that allowed you to set the pump and do something else. He did this to keep the bigger trucks from overfilling their tanks. I have been using a rock that was in the back of the truck to hold the handle up just enough to fill the tank but not click off. I noticed that he had to put out cat litter because the tanks are still overfilling....

PITA.

Used the tractor on Saturday to move 15 tons of ABC, pull a 8-12 inch stump with the box blade and move some tree trunks to make firewood. Figured I spent $3-6 on diesel. Easily worth a couple hundred dollars if I had to hand dig that stump up. Would not even touch moving 15 tons of ABC with a wheel barrow and a shovel.

I got a shock needed fuel down by Philly and had to pay $3.19 for diesel
regular was $3.22 premium $3.45

my last fill up was at $2.83 near home

Northern Wi. Unleaded has been 3.49 gal for almost 2 wks now. With this weekend coming I guess it will only go higher.
