Diesel prices?

In Germany the price for Diesel is appr. 4,25 USD for Diesel and 4,40 for Regular, prices per Gallon.

We pay 1,08 Euro for the L Diesel and 1,12 Euro for the L Regular.

In summer the tried to make Diesel expensiver, but as not every fuelcompany jumps on the train, the difference now is the fortake for Diesel.

Diesels are very popular here. I do not know a carbrand (maybe russian Lada), exepted the US ones, which are not very common (if an american brand, then Chrysler), that did not offer a Diesel engine.

Does anyone remember the Buick Delta 88? It was offered here in the ending 70`and had also a Dieselengine available.

In NE Ohio, the local BP is getting 1.59 9 for 87 octane unleaded, and 2.69 9 for on road ultra low sulfur diesel fuel.

The Delta 88 was actually an Oldsmobile. The Buick equivalent was the LeSabre.
The Oldsmobile built 350 cid diesel version was sold in NA as well and due to reliability problems was probably the main culprit responsible for turning North Americans off diesel engined cars.
Today N. of Toronto: on road diesel is 89.9 per litre, coloured diesel is 75.9, reg unleaded is 72.9

Ok... You are right it was no Buick, it was the Oldsmobile. I remembered the design and that there have been 4 for sale at a dealer which sells used cars for normal. Colour if them was red and blue, with white roof. 2 Doors. I wondered, why they have not been offered at a local Opel Dealer.

A bit later there appeared a few Chevys on an Autoshow at an Opel Dealership, after that you have seen a few Blazers and Malibus.

A Local craftsman used to have a Buick? Riviera Park Avenue and a small Cadillac after the Buick. Today he is driving a Lexus.

My area in CA is finally starting to catch up with the lower prices.
Regular was $1.33.9 and diesel (on road) was $2.33.9 today.

The 350 inch GM diesel was a modified 350 gas motor, which is why it never went anywhere. The block casting was simply not robust enough to support a diesel configuation.

$1.85 for off road diesel today. That sure beats the $3.59 per gallon for off road a few months ago.

1.49 unleaded Middle Tennessee which includes a fairly hefty state gas tax.

Heard OPEC voted to cut production to raise prices again. Wish we could all stop buying gas for a month and see how they like that.

Buy it now and store it. I keep about 100 gallons of gas at home and as much as 300 gallons Diesel.
