Diff-lock doesn\'t work - BX

I cannot seem to get my diff lock to work. 25 hours on the BX2230 but if I back up on an incline in my yard (at an angle) in 2-wheel drive, one wheel will spin and when I depress the diiff lock, the same wheel still spins as the other does nothing. I don't hear any unusual or suspect noises from the hydro. What could be happening here? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

I find you need to engage the diff lock slowly while the wheel is slipping by holding down the diff lock pedal. You will feel it drop in as the diff lock pedal will drop further once engaged. I have used mine a handful of times in the snow and mud.

I had that too, I find that turning the front wheels all the way to the left or right does the trick every time.

I'm assuming that you hold down the Diff Lock petal while using it 'cause it doesn't lock in place. I did that the first couple of times I used it, made me think it wasn't working.
