Very nice.
Great job Looks Like factory built
I have been gathering info on and off this year ,on building a smaller version of the grapples I see on the internet.. I actually met with my welder friend yesterday. This is insperation. I will have somthing to show before spring. Mine will be much smaller though. Just for say 16 inch butt and down is all i need. Do you know how many pounds of pressure you have on the log grapple cylinder?
That looks great, very impressive! What is the thickness of the steel used? Can you please add some photos of your grapple? Thanks, Stanley
WOW! Looks like a commercial product! I'll take two.
Very impressive!!!!!!
I'm looking forward for some pics of it in action. Do you have any steering problems or need for more weight up front? How about a video on youtube?
Thanks for sharing,
Eddie
Very professional. I wish I had the patience to do wood mockups like you did; my stuff would not look as good as yours, but it would look (and work) a lot better than it does.
Send us some pictures of it in action.
This one shows the bottom... http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/build-yourself/193711-pictures.html...but I guess if you search my post it should work.
I used 3/8" for most of it. The boom is 1/4" Heres a couple shots of the grapple. I posted some on here last year. I dont know enough about computer stuff to put a link to it, but I guess if you search my post it should work.
Is this your own design or did you copy some one elses. I call it R&D rob and duplicate. Verry nice work.

OK!! shipping could be costly though![]()
Very nice build, I would like to see some pics of the cylinder placement and what kind of 360 degree motor did you use? gpm? Again NICE job!

I have to ask: What is the purpose of the tin can on your loader?
Thanks
Interesting idea, but after some quick and rough calculations it would hold less than 10 so might not be worth it.
Thanks I missed that.He was talking about sealing the boom and making it into a resevior for hydraulic oil but it would only hold 10 gallons so not worth it.
