I agree.. On my 1920, the only time I've used the brakes to assist steering is whn discing, and needed to make a turn or hit a fence... /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

I was doing some loader work in the mud the other day and I found that in tight spaces the brake turning put my bucket right over the pile quickly. However, I contemplated the the forces on the machine-- 2000lbs in the bucket six feet up and mfwd engaged. Anyone know if this is dangerous or bad for the tractor?

Anytime with the bucket up in the air your asking for trouble. Always keep that bucket as low as you can.
