In order for a soils report to be performed I needed to dig a 4 foot deep hole that was at least 3' x 4' in size. So I slapped on the piranha tooth bar and went to work! it took about 45mins but I was able to do it! Of course I could have made a nicer hole with a backhoe, but since I don't have one I did what I could with the FEL.

It worked! Think of how long that would have taken you with a shovel. :)

Very nice hole. That's about the right size for a " Two- Holer" outhouse.

I've been thinking about the piranah bar for a little while. That hole should put me over the top. That's a lot of digging for a FEL.

I'm impressed with the fact that that tractor could back out of that hole.

It's a Kubota! :D

Good job too. Now, I need to see if my LS can do that as soon as the ground thaws out. Oh yes, still waiting for my Piranha. Don't think I could do it without one.

Me, too!

To the OP: more amazing to me is your soil. When I lived in San Diego many years ago, we had "caliche" instead
of soil. It was more like soft rock, and it took me many hours and soaking just to get a few 12" deep holes for
plants. And I was in North County, not far from Poway.
