Here is an instruction manual to a very similar engine meter made by Mebay who made the one on the DM200.

For some reason I can't open that link. Well I finally found the pilot filter. Take the left side cover off, it is underneath the control valve block. When i had mine out the other day and transplanted a bush I was pretty upset. it has the ISO pattern and my digging was a disaster. yow would have swore I was on loco weed. All the backhoes and track hoes I have ran over the years had the backhoe controls SAE. Every one I talked to said "well you are just going to have to learn the IsO. " No way in this world am I going to retrain my brain at this age. The best I can describe it is, put your pencil in your left hand, now write your name starting right to left. I did a lot of reading on how to change it, looked on u tube and none even look remotely the same. I e mailed Rippa and Digmaster also asking about it, no answer. i called Rippa of Texas and said it can't be done. There are a lot of hoses there to figure out. I finally figured it out (I think) at least when I was done , I had the SAE pattern. I did not take it out and dig yet as it was late when I got done. In one article I read, said you might run into flow problems as on some machines they will have a smaller orffice. i wouldn't think it would be the case on the China made ones. But the next time you have yours running, see if when you move the dipper stick in or out , if it makes your RPM change slightly.

John - changing control to BH is simple - Just swap the boom and dipper stick lines (the boom is the one in front of you, the dipper stick is the one on the top - I posted a photo - since my boom and dipper stick are are on the top of the boom, it was a 10 min swap.

They number the lines at the boom and dipper stick and at the valves so it should be an hour most to change at the valve under the floor of your machine,

I just purchased a DM200 as you did. I am 71 and got it for similar reasons as you. I had a stroke 3 years ago and NPH, the same as Billy Joel was diagnosed with. I call my mini my fancy wheel chair. I can now keep up cleaning out my drainage and fire pond from falling tree branches and sediment. I also have not been able to find a service manual. Currently one or both of the tracks will stop. The cogged wheel at the end of the track is also stopping. All I can see is the gear being held onto the axle with a key and keyway on the motor shaft to allow the gear to spin. Can the key be worn? When my neighbor asked what it is I told them it is my new all terrain wheel chair.
