I would flush the block real good B-4 installing rad. You don't want to stop up your new radiator.

Success!

I picked up the re-cored radiator, put it all back together and took it for a test run. It ran perfectly and sat between about 85-88c. I ran it under load for about an hour without issue so I'd say that I'm finally in possession of a properly functioning tractor.
