I recently recieved a ball of 2x2 angle iron that was once a 5.5 ft three point disc harrow but was ran over by a log skidder due to being left on a grown up wooded fence row. Initially it was headed to the scrap yard but after studying it , it became clear that the gangs and gang hangers where still intact. I cut the frame from the gang hangers and began disassembly of the cast bearings. They cleaned up nice thow I had to drill out the grease ports. Apparently this thing was in the weeds 15 or 20 years. The disc was originally a double offset , I am partial to a single off set . First order was to gather some iron. I purchased 20ft of 5 1/2" x 2" x1/4" channel iron uses for $50 and 4ft piece 2 1/2" solid round stock
Long story short all I have left to do is paint her.
