I have a 6 foot disc that I use on my food plot the weight is around 625 lb or so. My question is I had a culvert that I cut and welded a piece in back and front and know I see when both levers are down the front up about a inch or so is this normal or should I cut off the pipe in the front.

You lost me. I don't understand where you welded the culvert. Pictures would be a great help.

You post is not too clear too me. "BOTH LEVERS" is that Position Control and Draft Control levers?

If you SHORTEN the Top Link of your Three Point Hitch, weight will be transferred from the rear of the Disc Harrow to the front of the Disc Harrow. This probably will lower the front of the Disc Harrow, closest to the tractor.

If that does not do it, write again.

GOOD LUCK.

I still don't understand your post. I see the pipe, don't see any culvert and don't see any levers?

I see the disc cultivator in your picture - now. No idea what your original post was about!
I, like others, couldn't understand why you would be driving over a culvert with your 'levers' down... after welding pieces to the front & back of it. (And with your front wheels in the air) !!

:confused2:

I'm ASSUMING the OP is referring to those two pieces of 3-4" steel pipe that he welded to his disc as "culverts"

I know I've seen small sets of discs with levers to adjust disc gang angle but don't see any on this model.

Interesting thread.....

Ditto Big Barn comment on the pipes.
Perhaps the OP means the front disc gang is off the ground when the back gang is on the ground. If so then the top link needs to be shortened until the front gang is on the ground to match the rear gang.
The disc gangs are bolted on so there is no changing the angle of cut to change depth.
I can not see any "levers" either.
This is a very basic set of discs.

I was talking about the levers next to my seat that lift the back arms up and down.

This has been a fun post. I bet a lot of TBN readers remember it.
