What attachment do you use to create and maintain roadside ditches?

I found this modified box blade with a middle buster bolted on to the side. I知 not sure if it is offset enough from the tractor tire. Otherwise the tire would just mash down the edge of the ditch and then the middle buster has more to clear out.

Do you know of any tools, tips, techniques for digging and maintaining roadside ditches?

A rear blade tilted and angled will cut a ditch and keep it cleared.

I've given a lot of thought to doing something like in the picture...but I do have good success using my rear blade to clean out 6' of ditch at a time/pass...

I set up perpendicular and back the blade to the back side of the ditch and lower the 3ph...then slowly moving forward I extend the (hyd.) top link curling the blade forward and raising the 3ph so the blade with the ditch debris slides up and over the near side of the ditch and onto the road...if it's mostly gravel and sand (fines) I re-spread if it organic matter I move it off with the loader...

I suspect the attachment combination pictured was cobbled together for something other than cleaning road side ditches but haven't a clue what it's purpose is....

I have a very light scrapper blade but it keeps the small ditch on the side of my house cleaned out good enough.

This,
and I lock my lower links all the way to the side.
In the picture above see how the blade is all the way to the left.
