I don't know what the white flowers are, they are kind of rare.
The yellow ones are called Coreopsis with a few Black Eyed Susan mixed in.
My soil is all red clay.
About a month ago the highways were all lined with the yellow flowers like mine. I don't know if it's a rule or not, but the Texas Department of Transportation doesn't start mowing along the highways until the flowers stop blooming.
I saw they started mowing two weeks ago.
