I was looking at filters for the 50 hour service on my new T574HC at the dealer and they are pretty steep in price. Do I need to use their filters to maintain my warranty? Can I cross reference and use any high quality filter?

Technically the OEM cannot deny warranty coverage for the use of aftermarket parts unless the aftermarket part is the cause of the failure. That said, it is very likely they WILL deny warranty coverage if the failure is even remotely associated with the aftermarket part.
IMHO, it's best to stick with OEM maintenance parts during the warranty period. I think you'll find that cross referencing filters from quality suppliers isn't much cheaper than OEM anyway.

Air and engine oil filters you might get by using other brands.
However the hydraulic filters use the TYM.
This also applies to Branson's.

I haven't seen anyone being able to cross ref. that large hydraulic filter on a T574 yet. But I haven't looked to hard either since I have a smaller model.

My dealer gave me some much better pricing on the filters for the 50 hour service after politely asking for a discount. It's the squeaky wheel that gets the grease I suppose. RJM Equipment in Branson MO. So far they have been very easy to work with.

I'm seeing a "full service filter kit" for $500.

LegacyTractors: Filter Kit for TYM T494 • T574 (Full Hyd Suction Filter Assembly)

Do you really need to replace all of the filters? The entire water separator unit?

As far as the hydraulic filter, is the TYM Tractor Hydraulic Filter 17975152101 the same as the Mahindra Tractor Hydraulic Filter 17975152101?

I'm seeing quite a bit of variability in the price for the Mahindra filter.

Air, engine oil & hydraulic filters. The OEM filters are within pennies of filters from top brand suppliers. At least here. I have to go to the dealership to get the air filters. So I get engine oil and hydraulic filters at the same time.

I use OEM air filters because the air filter is housed in a metal cage. This cage keeps the munks and mice at bay. The chipmunks and mice CAN be a major problem here.
