Door is 12’ X 15’ I hate struggling to get in and out of a building.I am finishing a SteelMaster Quonset. They said I was out of warrant so a missing piece was going to be another $126. I bent one myself to finish the job. The sent plenty of bolts. Seem knowledgeable, however the price they wanted for the baseplate was crazy high, like 6k. I designed and built my own for $1700. The dimensions are 30’ X 48’. Closing the ends with drive through sliding doors 12’ X 15’.
But many of us don't. We have 12 acres, with two flat spots. This one, with the garden in the foreground and my tractor barn and implement shed beyond, was graded level by the prior owner for a single-wide mobile home.Man, some of you have a lot of flat usable space to work on. I've got almost 40 acres, but not much flat stuff nearby the house.
I waited and waited like you. Now that it's built, I can't wait to start on projects I've been putting off for so long. And others that I'll find...You guys sure have me wishing that I could start on my shop sometime soon. It just seems like one of those projects that remains at the bottom of my list, and more things keep going in front of it.
Like your 'Stang.42 x 60 with 13 foot sidewall here, and wish it was bigger. Summer is not bad as summer toys go to the house garage and I have some work space, but winter is packed pretty good. My pickup truck was pulled out for this winter picture.View attachment 870425
Mr. Torvy, you could extend another 18 feet of roof on your lean-too!I have a 20'x8' lean-to where my tractor normally lives. I can also park it inside the barn, if needed.
