Guess I posted this wrong
I built this in 2004 by myself and it is still standing.
The cost was around $450, short pipe 2 1/2" in 5 gal buckets filled with concrete with holes in the bottom then I think 2" pipe inside them. A bolt was put in the base of the 2 1/2" pipe with a line level at each pipe, another bolt was drilled through both pipes as an anchor. I calculated no more than 33lb load on each pipe 50ft long 14ft wide.
I really had no idea what I was doing and really planed on this as temporary until I could have a barn built.
Never got around to having a barn built.

Got a bid! 11K without assembly with 120 snowload and steeper pitch than normal. On sale now with fall price at 9K.. Correction! That price is assembled on building site. Seems reasonable to me having a good snow load capacity.

Good Evening
What do you guys use? (If anything)
Yes, back in 2010 months put up a 28’x 44’ barn. One drive through bay in the middle ! Tractor storage, Polaris Ranger , log splitter and the front side of the building is my wood shop ! Wish it was a bit bigger but that’s what I could afford at the time ! 😉

I keep mine in a shack that was built in 1940. It’s in rough shape but I’m working on that. I’ve seen a few critters in there so I buy a box of moth balls every few months and scatter them about all over the floor.

My current shed might be that old, I don't know, I've been fixing it in place for 40 years here. Just scattered moth balls yesterday. :)

My first thought is to just tear it down, but it used to be used to make and sell maple syrup locally, So I feel like it has a little local history to it. Plus it has electric running to it. I figure I’ll just do a little at a time.

Old isn't bad! My tractors are kept in an old carriage barn, that was already coming up on 200 years old, when yours was built.

I put up the final arch this morning, 9 total for 18', 20' wide. Ends and barn doors next.:)

Dirt floor = damp interior and rust, once enclosed. How do you plan to ventilate, if you're closing in the ends? I understand wanting to keep rain and snow out, but I'd want to ensure substantial airflow, to keep interior dry.
