I live in kind of a weird area. The road I live on has a bunch of 5 to 20 acre ranchettes on it, but all of that is in the middle of a major metro area and there are subdivisions within a mile of the house.
There is a guy who lives near me that does custom hay cutting/bailing/hauling for places up and down the road. I will see him drive by in a large Kubota cab farm tractor with a mower, bailer or whatever on the back. If I'm out on my CUT, I will wave at him but never get a wave back. Not sure if he is a tractor snob or what.
Then again, maybe I'm over-thinking it. He is probably just bent over, steering with his knee, lighting a cigarette and doesn't even see me.
Or, it COULD be because I'm on a John Deere......
As for cars, nobody waves because it's in the city, which is kind of sad.
