Builder----more Football pratice for you, Cheerleaders to look at and listen to-----ONE TON Trucks to use and abuse looks don't matter, sound don't matter,--------GETTING THE JOB DONE MATTERS-------ALL OTHERS BUY A CAR!!!!! 92 D--O--D---G--E 4wheel drive 400000+ miles and still hauling _____ looks ugly sounds terrible rides ruff BUT still doing the job---They just don' build them likey the use to----Did I mention my 8N---

No,, you didn't. Did I mention my '92 IH4800? Runs better because it's simpler than newer ones, although I like the sexy new truck interiors:) . I dislike new trucks because they're overcomplicated and subject to more failure. Twin turbos are less reliable than single turbos. :D

Would you prefer to see a Cummins diesel in the 1/2 ton Dodge pickups? Stay tuned......

I've been hearing that ever since I've worked for a Dodge dealer.

and a bx32/24/25 is just a glorified lawn mower but alot of people get alot of work done every day with a unit that fits their situation. I doubt a dodge/nissan combo is going to be about a 1 ton titan.

I couldn't disagree more. 1/2 tons are used by workin' people all the time.

Example: Painting houses doesn't require a 1 ton diesel dually 4x4, but it sure as heck is hard work!! I bet I see more big diesel 4x4 trucks being driven around with a little babe or some geek on his way to a desk job than contractors in 1/2 ton's!

Ain't seen no truck painting a house!!!!---Alot of hard working people ride a bicycle to work-----Thank I might have to get one if the Diesel keeps getting so cheap. A house note just to fill up the Dodge!!! Truck working so that I can rest???? Bicycle----Me working so that my wallet can rest!!!!!

I agree totally. A 1500 diesel will sell bigtime. Look at how many people drive heavier trucks just to have a diesel, but rarely work them?? Tons!!

I just read an interesting article stating that Chrysler was negotiating with Nissan for joint ventures in pickups. In the agreement, Nissan would build Frontier based compacts for Dodge and Dodge would build Ram based full size trucks for Nissan. Wonder if a merger might be in the works between the two a little further down the line?
