Does anyone else have a name for their tractor

My grandmother had an AMC Gremlin that she called Betsy. It was tempermental, would start only when it wanted to, and would quit running the same way. My Iseki has enough personality (and quirks) to warrant having a name, and Betsy only seemed fitting.

I called mine Big Mo, but that was also the name that the manufacturer, Minneapolis Moline, gave it when it was new. It spent it's first part of life digging graves before I bought it. Then I used it while building my house and have since sold it. Now I have Little Mo.... my Kubota BX22 My truck also came from a cemetery 20 years ago. I call that one the "Green Hornet" after the first ambulance that I trained on back in the late 50's. It was a green 39 Cadillac that was very tired. Never heard how it got it's name. The Junkman

Wow, didn't know MM made loaders/bachhoes! I grew up driving a M&M U on propane. That thing would run forever--much longer than I was happy running it!

I almost bought a G1000 (think that's the number) that was wife's granddad's tractor. It was 20+ yrs old and had 750 Hrs on it. It sold at auction for $2K! At the time, I lived in town and had absolutely no use for it.........

I sold mine on e Bay last month for $3500.... commissions and listing fees, cost me about $140.... I was happy to see it go to another home, because it was too large for me to handle in my advanced stage of old age..... now I only dig small holes..... LOL..... the Junkman

On our place, the Case is Babs (short for Barbara Stanwyck). Why? Her characters always seemed to get the job done.

The MTD riding mower is Bob (short for Robert, my father, who donated this fine piece of equipment to the cause.)

But then, we have names for all our cars, hand tools, the trees, the fence posts...

My son named mine. The Ford 2120 is "The Baby" and the New Holland TN75D is "The Beast".

Ps he likes driving the beast the best.

I call my TC29D "Boomer" I guess it is because that is what the brochure calls it. My 2 year old neighbor calls it Boomer too. He loves tractors and even tends to come over and ride on mine every so often. I think it is funny because his dad has a John Deere. And at one time John Deere was the world to him, not no more, now everything is Boomer or New Holland. Never named a inanimate object before but after the election tonight, I might consider calling my L3830 HST Arnold, maybe Terminator, Predator I, or maybe Total Recall. I'm leaning towards Arnold.
