I've not seen or heard of a mechanical air conditioning system on a BX. Mine does, however, have a 'doors off' and rear window 'removed' system in the summer. That works fine at North Latitude 39 in the summer. The doors on my cab are 'suicide' hinged and I'm certain that the last 2 door vehicles (Ford 1933 and 34) so hinged did Not have a cooling system that could be called 'air conditioning' in the modern sense. (or is that 'cents'?). I'd suspect, kidding aside, that a system for the little BX series tractors would have to run the compressor off of one of the PTO's since the underhood space is just about all consumed. Or, of course one could use a regular household 'window' unit or RV 'roof' mounted type and run it off of a 120v generator....it also being powered by one of the PTO's. I for one would like to know if you find such a unit. Good luck and thanks, Mora
