Front-End Loader Does the Ford 19-209 (711) 1 Arm Loader Fit on my 1968 Ford 2000 3 Cyl Diesel?

If it's the original cyl, V packing is no problem. I've had a couple re-packed. the local mom n pop shop had -0- problems finding something off the shelf to make it work.

The V seal packing parts cost $15. The guy who actually did the rebuild said that the ram was nick free so the cylinder should perform like new.

it's nice to carry in a 50-70 year old cyl and have off the shelf parts fit. :)

I was glad the shop owner just walked in and picked them up from a business in Paducah KY that specializes in hydraulic supplies for the area rebuilders. We will never use it enough wear out these new seals so another 52 years down the road I bet the loader and tractor will be recycled or at least out of use. :)

Thanks for the info. I've been away from the site for a bit....started looking for a Ford 706 dirt scoop because I wasn't having any luck tracking down a loader. But I saw one today and so was checking back to see what specs I needed...and saw your posts.

Yesterday I actually found a nice straight Ford 706 reversible dirt scoop and got it home about 10 pm last night. It was only a little over an hour away but the guy had 5 old tractors dating back to 1948 so I broke out the flashlight.

Below is a deep rabbit hole.

NTC Manual Library

My brother has Dad's red (rust color now) Ford 706 reversible pond scoop but this one I bought ($150) still is somewhat blue and will make a cool show piece to go with the 1966 3000 Ford that carries the Ford 711 one arm lower with the hydraulic bucket. Here is a flyer on a red 706.

FORD Reversible Rear Scoop

We enclosed a 12' x 28' lean to on a storage building behind the house last week and it will hold 250 square bales but there is not enough room to get a trailer between the deck and two story storage building Lowes built on site 10 years ago.

With the 711 FEL being narrow (bucket is 40" wide) we put two chain on forks on the bucket and one 40" x 48" pallet in front of the bucket and moved 12 - 15 bales a time from the drive around the front of the house and down a grade to the new hay shed just fine AFTER we mounted the 3 14" bottom plow set. My first objective is to fill the 706 scoop with cap blocks we gained in the shed enclosure that served as a set of steps before that we never used and see how that works out.

The rain moved in as I was about to unload it today so it is still in the bed of the F-150.
