Does woven wire horse fence exist anymore?

I've spent years clearing my fence line. I've just had a surveyor here to mark my corners and I've started buying posts. Now I can't find any fencing. I don't care what brand I use, I don't believe there is any difference. What I want is 2x4 woven wire fencing that's 4 feet tall and 200 feet long. I've found a couple 100 foot rolls, but I need a lot more then that. I'm not in a rush, but it's something that I want to get started on. I'm thinking that I'm going to have to drive to get it, but I'm not finding it anywhere in East Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas or Louisiana, which are all within 200 miles of where I live.

By any chance, does somebody have any insight on when it will become available again?

Anybody have a good lead on where to find it?

Maybe a better way to search for it online?

Every week I'm running into something new that's no longer available. It's very frustrating.

Woven wire was always sold in 100’ and 200’ rolls . Field fence, it’s cheaper cousin came in 330’ rolls. At least as long as I’ve been installing fences. I put up about 2,000 feet of 2x4 woven a few years ago.

tractor supply has both instock here in Idaho. Not sure about Texas.

Thanks for the link. It's $259 at my local Lowes, Atwood's, and Tractor Supply when it's in stock. The website lists it for $385 for the same thing. The 100 foot rolls are $166 and I'm probably going to buy a few of those since that's all I've found. There is one roll each in two local Lowes. But that won't accomplish very much other then keeping me busy for a little bit.

My new reality is paying a lot more for something, if you can even find it.

I’m so sick and tired of not being able to find what I need at the stores. I’m trying to find some Homeline breakers. Shelves are bare. Amazon wants 3 times the store cost. Guess I’ll have to wait.

They are heavy! I do hammered in fence posts and fencing with my excavator. I made this attachment for working with 330ft rolls of fencing. Curl down and spear the center of roll then curl up attach to post and drive to unroll. In this picture I have four 1320ft rolls of high tensile hot wire on it instead of woven.

$369 a roll, and even though it's $100 more then Lowes, it's out of stock too!!! I sure hope this fence plan of mine doesn't become so expensive that I can't afford it.

Thanks, I just looked up Gordon electric, these are the only 2 thay have available, but Still too expensive. I need the 30/30 style, it’s $82.59.

what sucks is my supply house has it listed for 32.00, but unavailable. But thanks. I just bit the bullet and ordered one from Amazon . I paid only 2x what it should cost. Better than 5 times.

Thank you for the link. I went there yesterday to see what they had in stock and if they had any idea when they would get no climb horse fence. They only had a few rolls of field fence in stock and they have been back ordered on horse fence for awhile now with no idea when it would arrive. He took my name and number and said he would give me a call when it arrived, but I don't really expect that to happen.

From what I'm being told from the people at the different stores that I've been to, it's because of Covid, it's because of the ships that are off the coast and not being unloaded, it's because there are not enough truckers to move what's coming off of the ships, and it's because of the freeze that happened back in February. None of it makes any sense to me, but nobody has come up with a reason for the shortages that makes any sense to me.

We are seeing shortages weekly with medical supplies and then out of nowhere pallets of back orders arrive...

Some is surely folks stocking up so as not to be cut short...

Just in time inventory works fine when all the links in the supply chain are working in harmony.

Add to that the price increases are almost across the board...

People have money to spend but often trouble spending it.

There are stations selling premium gas and diesel at almost 5 bucks a gallon here in SF Bay Area...

The ports have ships anchored just waiting to offload... ship at anchor isn't making money.

Brothers Christmas Tree Grower friend sends 3,000 fresh cut trees each year to Hawaii... this week pulled the plug for fear trees would not arrive in time and fresh trees are not something you can ship early...
