Marine mechanic. So you've dealt with diesels before.
Mmmm, maybe not.
If I remember right you had removed the injectors and then cranked it to see about fuel delivery, correct?
What did the spray pattern look like? And how much, was it addiquate?
I'm thinking, this system doesn't by any chance have an electricly controled shut-off valve does it?
A failure there either electricly or in the selinoid itself would explain a whole lot of things.
well as a marine mecanic, I have worked on all sorts of motors and engines from old 2 stroke larks with glass fuel bowels to 2000hp blown drag boats and lots of large yachts with monster sized diesel motors, but with the diesel motors most of what a mecanic does is do fuel samples, change fluids andfilters and tighten up things that rattler loose, most people with million dollar plus boats with large diesels dont fix things they replace them, so in my work on diesel engines on boats most of it is, upkeep and eng swap outs, but i have owned many diesels in my life and have allways tryed to do all the work on them myself, as for the elect shutoff no these tractors like most have a gate that is man shut off by pulling a cable that leads to the ip pump
