This may be a stupid suggestion, but when my 254 showed similar symptoms, it was insufficient fuel, even though some was getting through to the injectors.
Clean out the banjo filter again, bleed the top of the canister filter. Keep bleeding and pumping the fuel line, the injector pump, all the way up to the injectors, then try it. I know you've done it all, but try again going along the whole fuel delivery line.
In my (limited) experience you can't assume that anything is working properly until you've checked it yourself. I have to check that fuel is going into a pipe, then ensure that it is coming out the other end. Sometimes it seems to get lost on the way.
