I agree with del's post, stuck and slowed down are TWO different beasts altogether. Here in Chatham Co, NC we had some soil that is like quicksand, but smarter. Quicksand you just step-in and start sinking. Our stuff, you can drive over it 2, maybe three times and nothing, then the next time it just swallows you up. The harder you try to get oout the deeper you sink and you saying what did I do to deserve this?
One time, we hadn't had rain in 9 weeks last summer and I was mowing an area around our pond and I back the rear mower over this one area slightly changing the angle each time and on the 3rd pass the mower wheels just disapeared and then when I tried to lift the 3pt, my rear wheels went up to the axil. It was like the grass gods said, No you don't. Fortunally, it was a spot where I could back my truck close enought to run 30' of logging chain and then do my "trick" with the loader lip. The ground just churned when I attempted to pull myself out with the loader to the gound. I only made that mistake once. At least the ruts I made that time are filled with water now so that grass doesn't grow there and my weedeater get the job now.
