I’m geographically challenged whenever I sell.

Plenty of pictures, fair price, accurate description but no show is the reality but first person to come out always buys.

Something about venturing into East Oakland is a Red Flag…

I've bought 8 or 10 implements on Marketplace. It's by far my preferred method. I do auctions, but you can be more selective on Marketplace.

I always establish what the seller's bottom price is before going to pick up an item...no haggling, but ask simply "What do you need to get?"...

If it's a good price, we meet up. It's very easy to reach agreement, and no issues whatsoever.

Wish I'd known about your dump trailer Mr. BDHSFZ6!!!

Yeah, I've sold a few implements on Marketplace recently. That dump trailer sold in one day! I listed it at 3:30 PM and a guy from NJ bought it in less than an hour. He drove up and picked it up that same evening. Probably could have sold it for more, but it had quite a bit of corrosion in the bed from being used as a coal bin.

Still have a Kubota M5460 SU and a Landpride RCR1272 rotary cutter up for sale. I don't use either much anymore and I can use the space. All part of my downsizing effort.

Another downsizing & simplifying project I completed recently, was to replace all my overhead door openers. I have 5 of them, all between 15 and 30 years old. All are different types and I've been cobbling on them for years to keep them working.

When the oldest one died recently, I could no longer find parts. While I'm still able to work on a stepladder, I decided to bite the bullet and replace them all with jackshaft openers. They were easy to install with no chains to lube & adjust, and all are the same major brand & model.

With any luck, they'll outlast me.
