Dozer = Bulldozer :

The terminology depends on where the machine is working. eg. Cleaning up a political rally field vs moving dirt!

I'm pretty ignorant when it comes to aviation. All I know is prop or jet engine, isle or window seat. Am I missing anything?

A large passenger jet makes an emergency landing, yet the graphic behind the news anchor reading the story shows a single engine 4 seater..... stuff like that.

And don't even get started with the news media and firearms. It is like they go out of their way to get EVERYTHING wrong.

Some thoughts on newspapers:

"Early in life I had noticed that no event is ever correctly reported in a newspaper."
George Orwell

“If you don't read the newspaper, you're uninformed. If you read the newspaper, you're mis-informed.”
Mark Twain

"Once a newspaper touches a story, the facts are lost forever, even to the protagonists."
Norman Mailer

The media in the west has become worse than the traditional communist media, it seems, as far as being a political tool. And the rest of the content is just for entertainment and ratings.

On the other hand. I know too many people to whom facts are irritating and boring. Tell me a story but please spare me the details!

You could start with the media's obsession over the use of the word,"Tarmac", to describe any pavement at an airport.

There hasn't been any Tarmac, at a U.S. airport, in over 50 years.

Tarmac is not asphalt.

Tarmac, is a brand name for a patented, tar based, obsolete paving process.

Using Tarmac under commercial aircraft, would be a disaster, especially in warm weather.

We had a full automatic manual bulldozer crawler tractor without a steering wheel. Now my childhood memories have been traumatized beyond repair.
