What the 'right to repair' deal is all about. I know Kubota dealers all pay an annual subscription fee to Kubota for updates on their diagnostic hardware and Kubota only 'leases' it to them, they don't own it outright.
Always been my assumption that diesels were originally designed to produce peak power at a lower RPM than a comparable gasoline engine and not having to run at rated rpm constantly.
I know my diesels all produce substantial power below 'rated rpm' I rarely run them at the rated or maximum governed rpm. The slower they turn and produce adequate power, the less fuel they consume as well.
