DPF Regeneration driving me crazy...

My Mahindra doesn’t have a DPF

My new Kioti CK3510 (35 HP Daedong 3-cyl) with DPF is burning less diesel than my old CubCadet 7305 (30HP Mistubishi cyl w no cat or dpf) did. It doesn't really smell any better, or run any quieter though, like I hoped it might.

LOL….I‘m thinking more like 1.5 since we know DPFs cause fuel consumption to increase.

Yes, I am. Diesels under 25 hp. aren't required to have the extensive exhaust scrubbing diesels over 25 are now required to have. Step up to a larger tractor and it's there in one form or another.

My 1984 L275 (27hp) Kubota burned 2 quarts of diesel per operating hour. My 2015 L3301 (33hp) Kubota burns 1/2 gallon of fuel per operating hour. I can barely tell the difference in fuel consumption.

Well..... there you have it. You can now see there is a difference because your L3301 is really burning 1.9 liters per operating hour. LOL

My Workmaster 40 gets run at 1,500 to 1,800 RPM most of the time. Even still, I only see regen about once per 30 hours of operation.

If I ran it harder more often it would regen less, but it would also burn more diesel. This thing loves to drink diesel fuel while mowing at 2,500 RPM.
