Hey folks:

Thought I would share my latest project with you all, this is something I've wanted to do for years and didn't have the know how or time, heck I still don't have either but I'm up for a good stab at it. I don't hear much or see much about this little tractor maybe it wasn't that popular back when Yanmar was sellin' them here

Anywho a big thanks for the guy's from this site that have helped me with my learning curve to start this.

First pic is the starting point, not to shabby but could look better

Kind of naked, still need to keep at a point where I can start and drive it being I'm doing th work next door at a neighbor's old chicken barn, and I don't want to push or pull it over there.

Some sheet metal primed, but I blundered and didn't cut my primer and got a little "orange peel" so a little sanding in the morning and hit it with another coat.

last one for the evening. the rest of the sheet metal stripped and waiting for a coat of primer in the morning.

It looks pretty darn good to me so far. Hard to see anything in prime. Have you decided on a color, colors?? Going back red, black and white?

Keep us posted......can't wait to see more pictures.

I'll replace the red/orange with Massey Ferguson red and maybe some of the brackets under the hood, gloss black for the tranny & motor and a gloss white for rims and grill.

<font color="blue">are you doing any mechanical stuff too? </font> At this point I'm not, everything on the little beast works, although the thought of slippin' a clutch/pressure plate/throw out bearing has crossed my mind, but I think it maybe more of an adjustment to the power shift linkage. Sometimes ya have to wiggle the lever to get it to bite but it dosen't slip when its in gear and the wife is starting to show her teeth when I talk of spending more money!
