Hmm, I knew we were a bit odd; maybe haven't realized yet just how odd. I know both numbers and she can never remember either one. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

We are odd for sure since both our S.S. numbers are exactly the same, except for the last two numbers.

The reason why is we were both in the same junior high school class when they first started handing them out! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Sure makes 'em both easy to remember though.

There's no possibility you were of the same household, was there? THAT would be ODD!

Interestingly enough, my wife's and mine are only different by about 300 (last three digits only). We were born within four months of each other in the same state but about 150 miles apart. We know each others numbers, but only because they are so close /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Well, it's obvious there is something wrong with me, I know my wife's SSN by heart and she always has to ask me what mine is.

HEY CHUCKO....do you think my wife programmed her SSN into my feeble brain....hopefully it's on the LEFT side. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Maybe there is something different with TBN users. I do real estate closings and during every one I have to ask my clients for their SS numbers. 60-70% of the time the wives know their husbands, but the husbands almost never know their wives. I think it used to be because most husbands were the primary on the health insurance and the Blues used the primary's social security number as an account number, but that's been changing.

Sorry I caused us to stray so far from the point of this thread.

Come on, someone else had to do something stupid to make the rest of us feel better. Cough up a story.

As I'm fond of saying; You're using logic where none is required. That'll get you in trouble every time. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Remember, you're dealing with the female of the species. You'll never understand them and you'll never win any argument with them because you're handicapped by an inherent need to be logical and make sense. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

A young man I knew, in his early days of learning how to mow grass, once thought "what the heck - I can mow over that rolled-up newspaper - its not like the mower can't handle it."

It looked like an early snowfall had hit or maybe a ticker-tape parade had gone by...

A few years ago I was having one of those exciting weeks when you acquire several big new items all at the same time. It was just like Christmas and I was excited! After years of nursing my old work van through one more month my brand new van had arrived from the factory just the way I ordered it. It also happened to be the week that several new implements I ordered were ready to pick up. I was really excited! A new ride and new tractor implements all in the same week. Life was good! One of the implements was a 6’ rear blade that was going to let me clean out some ditches that I could not reach with my 5’ boxblade. It worked beautifully and the ditches were looking better than ever.

Now I have thought about this many times and have decided that what happened next was the implement dealers fault. What else could it be! After all, don’t you think it is only reasonable to have expected the dealer to explain that a 6’ blade will get much closer to a new van than a 5’ boxblade when you pull up next to it? I considered legal action but the dealer is a good guy so I just point to the 3’ gouge in the van and expect a discount when I go to buy from him now. He does carry a measuring tape with him when I look at implements these days. Guess I taught him a thing or two. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

My driveway comes straight off the highway for about 100' then makes a 90 degree turn then goes around 75' over to the house.

Several years ago I had just poured about 25 feet of concrete in the driveway going to the house.
The cement truck had just left and not 5 minutes later some guy wheels into my driveway comes up it and makes the turn onto the drive going to the house and stops right in the middle of the fresh cement opens his car door and steps one foot out of his car into the liquid concrete before he realizes where he is and what he did.
