I was thinking about getting a used dump truck. It seems like I'm always moving dirt, gravel, stone ect. from one area to another. Then, my Brother in Law suggests I look into a dump trailer. They run around $4,000 new he claims.
Has anyone ever used one and if so how would it compare to a dump truck?
Thanks,
Terry

They work great. Mine is a six ton. A dumptruck will hold more but these are a great smaller alternative.

Haha, It's pretty much a full time job now "helping" family, friends and co-workers. Like all of you I became REAL popular when I got my tractor.

My 6k was $5400. I have seen the smaller ones in the $4k range. Between 4000-5500 you can get what you want.

Terry,

I'm sure if you do a search, you'll find a lot of information. Here's one link I found just doing a quick Google search Big Tex Trailers . There were a number of other sites also. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
