The load is 10 Baby scoops of crushed granite.
I'm guessing 100#/cu.ft @ 5 cu.ft per scoop = 5000# load.
Springs were getting flat but not yet flat. Cool.
Cheers!

Can you haul your BX in there too?

Yes, I sure can ... maybe not with the FEL and BH or another implement, but I only expect to have to trailer it if there's a major breakdown that's covered under warranty or that I can't handle.
Thanks for the reply and, cheers!

I realized an interesting feature of my new dump trailer ...
I checked the battery voltage before moving 3 more loads of gravel tonight and it was at 12.2+/- volts. As some folks say, being from the RV world, I really don't like my RV/marine batteries to drop below 12.3+/- so I simply got my trusty Honda 2000i genny and a battery charger and put them to work. I never would have guessed that I'd have enough room on the tongue for the genny nor in the tool box for a charger. COOL!
Cheers!

I HAVE A 6' X 12' 12,000LBS DUMP AND LOVE IT. I MADE RAMPS FOR IT AND CAN HAUL MY TERRAMITE FEL/BH ON IT OR MY YM2000 "I HAVE TO REMOVE THE TAIL GATE WHEN HAULING THE CUTTER". YOU WILL LEARN HOW MANY DUMPS PER CHARGE. I RUN A WIRE FROM MY TRUCK BATTERY TO THE HITCH AND INSTALLED A PLUG TO CONNECT THE TRAILER BATTERY SO IT WILL CHARGE WHILE DRIVING. "HAVE TO UNPLUG BEFORE DUMPING SO I WON'T BURN UP THE CHARGE WIRE". I'M SURE YOU WILL LOVE IT!

My son has a dump trailor. He had the voltage drop issue. He took welder cable and a welder connector set to connect his trailer to his truck. He leaves the truck running and can use the dump as long as he wants. The sad thing is that he probably has as much $ in it as you do in your gen set.

You might be surprized at how much that generator costs. It is the cat's meow though.
