DO NOT BURN KEROSENE IN A DIESEL!!!! It's your engine, but I'd drain that tank ASAP A very small amount of kero in diesel is OK as a winter treatment, but if you are not sure of your measurements, get it out of there and just buy some winter fuel treatment. For no more than you will burn, it is just not worth all this. Another difference in the two fuels is that the road fuel is a low sulfur fuel, Deere, International and many others suggest a fuel treatment to be added to prevent pump problems, as the sulfur acts as a lube for the moving parts. Any tractor dealer will, or should have diesel fuel treatment avail. The Red fuel is best, but very few folks will find it worth all the trouble to hunt it out, unless they are in a rural area.
