im trying to make a steel snow plow for my tractor any ideas

I used angle iron and sheet metal for mine and it can plow 10 to 15cm of heavy snow

You might want to look around on Craig's list for an atv or lawn tractor plow. Then just build the frame to mount it. I did that with my cub cadet. The curved plow blade helps to roll the snow. Based on Vermont Craig's list for $100 or less you find something.

It pushes snow pretty good and im only 15 and im trying not to spend any money on this project.

I made a blade for my old lawn tractor out of a old hot water heater, shell, jsut cut to lenght and cut the section I wanted it was pre curved, and welded on a wear edge,

X2 I built on like that for a 14 HP garden tractor many years ago and it worked pretty well. Check out plumbing contractors, or heating and cooling contractors and even the city dumps. I didn't put a rear bar on it at all. You just will need a welder to make a hitch somehow. Good luck.
