E-Newsletter Problems?

Does anyone have problems receiving the TBN E-Newsletter after they have signed up for it?

I have signed up on more than one occasion, and it seems like I may have received one or two over the past few years. How often do they come out?

Today (1/17/2004) I got an email message from TBN:

This is to confirm that you have been unsubscribed from the TractorByNet.com E-Newsletter. Thanks, and we hope to hear from you again.

Not sure what is going on as I did not initiate any action to unsubscribe. Maybe my email service has been rejecting the E-newsletter and TBN got tired of the rejections? I've have no problems receiving any other email.

I signed up for the newsletter a long time ago. Maybe even close to a year ago and just got my first one a few days ago. I know the first line said it has been a while since one was sent out and Muhammad is trying to change that.

Well... it shouldn't have unsubscribed you unless...

1) You clicked the unsubscribe link.
2) Your e-mail server bounced our message and our system automatically removed you.

True, we haven't been sending the newsletter out, but plan to do monthly newsletters this year. Starting February.

Option #2 must've been what happened, since I did not remove myself. I have a "spam" folder that I manually clean out, but I did not realize that any email was rejected.

Based upon the timing of events, it sounds like the E-newletter that Murph received must've been the one that my system rejected.

I'll try to subscribe again and see what happens.

Upon trying to subscribe (again) to the E-newsletter, I made a couple of observations:

(1) I cannot find a link to the "My Home" page anywhere on the main "Home" page. Probably not a big deal; once I clicked on "Discussions" I did find a link to "My Home" so that I could edit my preferences.

(2) Under "My Home" I did not find anywhere to subscribe (or un-subscribe) to the E-newsletter.

(3) I tried the link near the top of the web page that reads "Please Register For Our FREE E-Newsletter! Click Here!". Unless I missed something, this option is not for existing members as it asks you to register as a new member in order to subscribe.

Have I missed something that is intuitively obvious to the most casual observer?

Yes, the newsletter subscribe link is the one at the top of the page.

It's a separate list from the forum.

I have also signed up for the newsletter several times and have yet to receive it. In fact, I signed up again today.

How often is the newsletter published?

Do you automatically get the past newsletter when you sign up or do you get the next issue? Might it be possible to resend since so many of us didn't get it the first time? thanks Junk..

We did several issues at the start of this year, but again broke the routine as other development took center stage.
