This is what I found when I got there, plus there were three new trees down parallel to the loader just downhill. Three new ones across the main road, and two new ones across my lower road. And, I came in from the top in the snow. Neighbors came in from the bottom, and had to cut through twenty trees to do it. They were in a two wheel drive, going to drain the water in their cabin. I pulled them to their driveway, above ours, and got them turned around. It is raining trees, doh! I dropped another 9-10 in the area I want to move it to. Loader is ready to move, and another 3 day break in the weather is coming.

I had several Internationals back in the mid 70's from Scouts to Travelers and 3/4 ton pickups. Liked them in the most part except for the tiny front fender gas tanks. The 304 - 345 engine was good and the 392 was a powerhouse back then in the 3/4 tons.

good looking rig, when IH was making them the option sheet was so long that they where almost custom built.
Nice that your climate hasn't totally rotted all the old iron out to garbage.

Both wheels are back on. The tripod worked pretty well, just had to walk it forward a few times to get it in place. You can see an alignment pin in a hole, it helped a lot. The grabber had to come off shortly after this, there is not enough room for it between the tire and the loader arm.

The inside of the grabber kept slipping out of the rim, this branch kept it centered. On the second wheel we left one bolt out, holding the two grabber halves together. So it pinched the wheel, it worked a lot better.

We got all the lug bolts torqued to 280 ft lbs lubed, per the manual. It took a whole lot more than that to break the stupid things loose. A nine foot cheater bar, and some took all of that, and still made quite a racket when it broke loose.
