Also great for any place you might have to get on/off more frequently. Most of the pros around here mowing larger properties are still using sitters, but many doing tighter developments of many small properties have converted to standers.

In most of my OPE, I look at what the local pro's are running, talk to them about my options if I get a chance. These guys go through equipment at a rate where they always know which brands, models, and dealers to favor or avoid, way before anyone buying one mower or trimmer every decade or two. Many of our pros replace their whole fleet of mowers every year or two.

I see the NRC is considering re-starting the Palisades' nuclear plant in Covert Township, Michigan, near Kalamazoo. Good deal and will increase the base load capacity here in Michigan and elsewhere.

Mine doesn't cut up pine needles much, but pine cones? Those should clean up the deck just fine.

I checked the boss's mower yesterday after I used it to cut the boulevard where there were a ton of fir cones. I was shocked at how clean the deck was. I couldn't have done any better. I don't care if this is hard on the mower. It's a ten year old Husky push model with a Honda motor that starts and runs like new. I've already gotten more than my monies worth out of it.

I thought my neighbor told me he takes his batteries out to charge them. Perhaps I misunderstood him. I'll check again next time I SEE HIM because I certainly don't HEAR HIM anymore!

I have no idea why one would want to remove them for charging.

With the reduced rear tire PSI, seems that traction has improved and I am pretty happy with it now.

He said the batteries fit in some of his other power equipment. Maybe I just assumed he used an external charger. Someday I'll make it into the current century.

My cousin moves two of the batteries from his mower into his walk-behind snowblower each winter, but I believe they just get charged in the mower, otherwise. He also has an even older walk-behind Ego mower, but I think that has a different battery.
