If you have the integrated brake controller on your Ram, you might visit 302 Found and do a search. In fact, joining will be the best money you ever spent for an excellent quarterly publication and full access to the website. The freebie guys might offer a lot of content, but not the same quality as TDR.

Not sure why the weird title on the link...

How many mile are on it????

My new corn pro utility with 7k dexters had poor brakes also with the gain at 10.

I found the magnets sticking on the arms so the never seated to the drum. Brakes are fine now with the gain at 5.

My corn pro deck over will about put you thru the windshield with the same axles.

So I would pull the hubs and check the magnets, shoe to drum contact, voltage & amperage at the brakes, etc

Maybe like 400 miles. Did you have to replace anything?

I agree, there must be something wrong in the hubs for it to act like this. With a factory controller you are set up good.

No, my dealer sent me a magnet, clips, wheel seals, etc but all that was needed was to pull the magnets and knock the burrs off the arms so the mags could float.

Of course now I have to get some more miles to finish mating everything.

Now I can slide them with an empty trailer and gain set up

to the OP.. for the heck of it. maount an aux ground wire via jump cables and see if it changes anything.. IE. ground truck to traielr.

I'm surprised. The F series trucks have had them as an option since 2005. You would think the E series would also.

I know, and they aren't even retrofittable, no place in the dad for the factory controller. I'll of course add my own, but id have paid the upgrade $ for the factory one.

Yea, it's money well spent. On the F series trucks it's $160 option and works awesome. Best I have used by far.
