Electrical Problem DK 55 Cab

I can crank my tractor with the key but the problem is after cranking it the raido dont work no power. When I turn the key off the engine dont shut off unless you pull the kill switch, the tach will go to 0 when you turn the key off but engine keeps running. I looked at the fuses and they are ok.
Anybody what I may need to check

my first thought would be key switch, it controls what gets power at the different stages of key turns.

Sometimes when I turn on my dk55 switch to preheat, the dash lights do not respond immediately. I have the jiggle the key to activate the circuits. It will not start sometimes as well. I believe the fuel shutoff soleniod is not always opened without playing with the switch. Its not a problem every time I start the tractor, just an occasional event. Moved some big logs yesterday. Wish I had had about another 1000 lbs on the back end. Can you say balancing act?

I've had no problems with my dk55c... knock on head here 8)...

Have you put any electrical grease near the key or switch? It sounds like the switch to me.

We had one to do that and it was a loose ground wire.
