Email notifications

Now that things have settled down on TBN from changing over to the current version. I have one problem. I seems to be related to the below statement.

"There may be other replies also, but you will not receive any more notifications until you visit the forum again.

The old version of TBN would send a email when ever there is a reply to a thread. But current version will not send anything after my not logging on. This makes it difficult to follow a thread that I am subscribed to. Why can I not get email notification for all replies to a subscribed thread?
When traveling it makes it a lot easier to follow a thread if I get all the replies.

I find it easier to look for the blue box with the check mark in it in the middle of the screen. When the current days posts pop up, it is quick to see which ones you are subscribed to. The blue box will appear whether you started the thread or merely replied somewhere along the way. You can't miss it.

When on the road the connection may only allow getting emails. Should not have to scan threads to find replies.

I agree. I don't travel but, also don't have time or desire to sit around playing on the 'puter when I could be OUT playing/working. I have to check emails a couple times a day so, quickly scanning replies in email is handy ... umm, kindof like actually having a "subscription" to the thread
